The Naval Reactors Historical Association is dedicated to connecting past and present Naval Reactors professionals, inspiring future generations and educating the public on Naval Reactors' accomplishments. Our mission is to preserve the history of Naval Reactors and to honor those who have contributed to its success and ensure those contributions are never forgotten.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership to the Naval Reactors Historical Association is free and open to individuals regardless of alumni status. In order to protect the privacy of our alumni, some resources are only made available to verified alumni, but we encourage non-alumni to join as General Members to access our great collection of historical documents. Any questions about access and membership can reach out to info@nr-ha.org

  • Old NR Gray Books (we only have 1987, 2009, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2020)

  • Information & stories about NR sports teams

  • Descriptions of NR Work Processes (particularly when and why changes were made)

  • List of Heads of Field Offices prior to 1990

  • Anything on California Water Project beyond what is in Rickover and the Nuclear Navy
